I first read this a few years ago, and enjoyed it just as much this time as last.
I love the artists of the late 1800s, particularly Bougereau, Godward, Alma Tadema and Leighton, Frank Dicksee and that group - I have tried a bit to write a story where Harry went back in time and was trained by these wizard artists, and destroys Voldie somehow with this power of art and love. - definitely not ready for prime time though.

It would have been a more interesting story if that white lie she told of her going out with Romeo changed things. Like Harry backing out of having his portrait, and just telling the Headmistress for starters. The problem would be keeping it from becoming all angst though. Maybe Harry goes out drinking and wakes up married, in a non divorceable way. But not to Ginny that would be too easy.
